Your Designs
About the Patterns you receive each month
- All designs have been created using Autosketch9 and are saved in a DXF format. This design file format is then converted to the above machine formats (i.e, QLI, CQP and IQP). Only the QLI version is actually quality tested and evaluated for stitchability. This methodology is common to most all designers. You will also receive a PDF file with images of the pal design(s) for use in printing hardcopy material for catalogues and other materials helpful to both you and your customers.
- Our copyrighted digital designs are formatted for immediate application on all Statler Computerized Quilting Machines. Each design has been quality checked and stitched out on our own Statler Stitcher. You will receive a single zip file containing the design in the following file formats:
- QLI for the Statler Stitcher
- CQP for the CompuQuilter
- IQP for the Intelliquilter
- They will be sent to you without encryption. All designs purchased in the store, however, will be encrypted to work on specific machines. Currently all the Stitchin' Pal designs in the monthly sets designed for Club members will be sent via email and you will receive a file outlining our Terms and Conditions of use and any general pattern information we feel help in making the most out of your Stitchin' Pals.
- For Club members we have decided to operate our club business on an honor system, which means:
- We trust all members will honor and respect the designer's copyright imbedded in the file format of each of our Pal designs; the Licensed Terms of Use; and U.S. Copyright Law.
- This decision keeps our costs (and our time) down so that we can make Stitchin'Pal designs available at such a low cost to club members. Besides that, it's just another way of expressing how much we appreciate the support of club members, the people that underpin the ability of designers to do what they enjoy ---design!
