1. Just for Starters

This class is for individuals who are new to sewing and/or quilting. Students will learn some basic tips about fabric and the proper use of a rotary cutter, rulers, and other tools. A small project will be completed during the class. Class size is limited in order to provide lots of individual attention. Location: Quilts, Etcetera studio. Class fee: $20 plus Pattern and Fabric Kit $16.

2. Border Basics

You will learn the difference between a T-top Border and a Mitered Border. This is an instructional class only….no project will be completed. However, if you currently have a quilt top in need of a border, you may bring it to the class along with your border fabric and we’ll help you put it on. Location: Quilts, Etcetera studio. Class fee: $30 - includes Deborah's fully illustrated book and teaching companion, Border Basics.

• T-top Borders – Learn how to correctly apply stop borders and how you can use them to help square-up your quilt top.
  
  
• Mitered Borders – Don’t let intimidation stop you from using mitered corners on your borders. Learn how easy mitering can be.
