Credit Cards - Cash or check are accepted for payment. A $35.00 fee will be assessed for all returned checks.


Pantograph Quilting
Quilting fees are based on quilt size, pattern level and thread chosen.

Formula: to determine estimated cost: length x width x level

Example: A quilt top measuring 90" x 84" with a Level A pantograph pattern would be:

90" x 84" = 7,560 square inches
7,560 square inches x $.016 = $120.96 (before bobbin charge)

Heirloom/Custom Quilting
Free motion, stippling, stitch-in-the-ditch, outlining, echoing, cross-hatch, individual block or custom design work. Heirloom can be defined as custom quilting with a supreme volume of stitches. Custom quiliting means two or more design elements on the same quilt top.

Fees range from .035 cents per square inch and up depending on the complexity and style of work being requested. Formula used is the same as for Pantograph Quilting listed above. Rate will be determined at the time of consultation. A bobbin charge also applies.

Bobbin Charge
The number of bobbins depends on the size of the quilt and complexity of the pattern. Bobbin charges are:

  • S1.35 per bobbin for solid thread
  • $2.35 per bobbin for variegated thread

Basting Service
Basting for hand quilters.

10 Cents per linear inch. $25.00 minimum.
Formula: length + width x 2 = linear inches x .10 = cost

Binding Service
Customer must provide binding material.

$0.20 per linear inch.
Formula: length + width x 2 = total inches x 0.20 = cost
Example: a twin size quilt (63" x 87") would be:
63 + 87 = 150 x 2 = 300 inches x 0.20 = $60.00

Special Services
Seam repairs, basting removal, extensive pressing, thread trimming, squaring up batting and/or backing, conditioning of batting, custom design development, cutting and sewing binding strips, etc. Rates are $20.00 per hour.
